We are currently hiring male and female drivers for full time and part time, weekdays, weekends, days or nights or even just a few hours a day or night.
You'll need a Class "E" (Chauffeur's) license before you can turn in your application. If you don't have one, getting one is easy. This is a simple written test at the license bureau covering 1 additional chapter out of the drivers guide.
For our Insurance Company to approve you, you have to be at least 25, with a reasonably clean current driving record. No DUIs or DWIs.
Our full time drivers average $125 to $200 plus per shift before tips. Customers tip depending on how polite and courteous drivers are in assisting them, in other words, how well they are treated.
Most trips are in St Charles County. Knowing the local roads helps. You must be able to read and communicate effectively in the English language. Must be able to read and interpret a standard street guide/map book.

What pay and benefits do drivers receive?All of our drivers are independent contractors, not employees. Drivers do not receive an hourly wage or salary. Drivers do not receive any benefits from the company. Taxes are not withheld, and drivers are responsible for keeping records of money earned. Drivers do not pay a pro. Drivers receive a % of each run plus tips. Unlimited income potiential, based on # of runs and hours worked.
What is your Pro? Nothing. Our company shares in the bad days right along with you. You never end up owing the company because your day was cut short or you didn't make enough. And we do not stop dispatching calls to you when you've met your pro.
I have my own car, do you have owner operators? No! St Charles Yellow Cab owns and maintains all of its cars. We have no owner operators or sub contractors.
Do I need an MTC License? NO MTC is the metropolitan commission on the other side of the Missouri river. It does not apply in St Charles County. You still must be a reasonably upstanding person, following the rules that are best for the customers, and safe enough driver for insurance. But if our insurance company and we decide to accept you, you can go to work. There are no groups you have to go before and beg for a approval.
